Our baptismal covenant commits us to care for the earth. We try to live this out in many ways, including participation in campaigns against the exploitation of our natural world for human gain. We are particularly involved in the campaign against the tar sands expansion, and in work against Enbridge’s Line 9 reversal project, which would see diluted bitumen from the tar sands pumped through an aging pipeline in the north end of Toronto.
